Josh Williams - Defender
Entering his second season as a starter, Williams has not skipped a beat switching to rightback. The 24-year-old brings speed and athleticism to the backline and attacking ability on the flank. Always a danger on set-pieces, Williams leads the Crew with two goals through the first four matches of 2013.
Federico Higuaín - Forward
The 2012 MLS Newcomer of the Year picked up right where he left off last season, pulling the strings in the Crew attack. The Argentine playmaker continues to be one of the most dynamic players in the League, notching a goal and an assist through the first month of 2013.
Ben Speas - Midfielder
Thrust into just his second professional start due to Eddie Gaven's ankle injury before the Crew's match in Vancouver, the Homegrown winger has impressed in the three matches he's appeared in thus far in 2013. Speas picked up his first career assist in Vancouver and scored his first goal, the eventual winner, against D.C. United.
Andy Gruenebaum - Goalkeeper
Gruenebaum has continued his stellar play in net to begin his second season as the Crew's starting 'keeper. The netminder has recorded 11 saves in four matches to post a 2-1-1 record through March.
Tyson Wahl - Defender
An offseason acquisition, Wahl brings veteran experience to the left side of the Crew backline. While shutting down opponents' wing play, Wahl has also contributed to the Black & Gold attack up the left side of the field. The veteran recorded his first assist as a member of the Crew against D.C. United, delivering a well-placed free kick to Josh Williams.
