Jonathan Mensahhas played every minutethis season for a Columbus Crew squad that leads MLS in shutouts (9), wins (8), and fewest goals conceded (4), among other categories.
Saturday's 2-0 win over Nashville SC was no exception to the trend, and for that, Mensah earned his second MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week nomination of the year.
The 30-year-old Ghanaian is one of only four MLS defenders to have played 1080 regular-season minutes, as he finished Saturday's match with a duel win percentage of 71.4 and a game-high three blocks, in addition to four clearances, two interceptions, and an 89.8-percent passing accuracy.
