TEAM OF THE WEEK | Lucas Zelarayan named starter on MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week for Week 1

Midfielder Lucas Zelarayan earned his first MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week honor of the year following his performance in the Crew’s 4-0 victory against Vancouver Whitecaps FC over the weekend. Zelarayan, who provided the assist on the first goal and scored the Black & Gold’s final strike of the evening, was named to the TOTW’s starting XI.
The playmaker provided his assist just eight minutes into Saturday’s match, as he crossed a ball to Miguel Berry, who finished off the play to put the Crew up 1-0. In the 87th minute, Zelarayan turned goal scorer, as he dribbled past several Whitecaps FC players inside the box before defeating the goalkeeper to make it 4-0 for the Crew.
