Goalkeeper Zack Steffen recorded his third straight shutout en route to earning MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week honors for the second time this season.
Notably, on the month, Steffen was the only goalkeeper in the League to finish with more than four goals prevented at 4.02, per Opta Sports. Only Seattle's Stefan Frei had a mark above 2.0.
As for last Saturday, Steffen posted a game-high five saves against the defending MLS Cup champions in the most difficult of playing conditions on March 30 at home against Atlanta United FC, as Saturday's rainfall in the city - 1.97 inches - set a daily record for March 30.
Following an early goal from Pedro Santos, Steffen kept his clean sheet in tact with a point-blank denial.
Steffen's five saves were a season-high for the Downingtown, Pa. native who turns 24-years-old on Tuesday, April 2.
