Following a milestone performance against the New York Red Bulls, MLSsoccer.com named Columbus Crew SC defender Gaston Sauro to the Team of the Week for Week 1.
In the home opener, Sauro started at center back - his 25th career regular-season appearance for the Club in 2015 - and scored the game-tying goal in the 41st minute, marking his first career goal for Crew SC. Additionally, finished the night with two tackles and passing completion rate of 88.2%, higher than any other player on the field.
