Curacao international Eloy Roomwas named to the League A Team of the Week of the Concacaf Nations League following an unbeaten showing against Haiti this past week during the international break.
Curacao opened Group D play with a 1-0 shutout in Willemstad, Curacao, with Room totaling five saves. Three days later, Room posted a four-save performance on Tuesday, Sept. 10 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, as part of a 1-1 draw.
Now, Curacao remains in first place in Group D of League A, with the next pair of group stage matches set to take place during the October international window.
