SPORTING DIRECTOR AND HEAD COACH GREGG BERHALTER
On tonight's game...
When we look back on this point, it will be a good point. Dallas is a good team. Having said that, the guys feel we gave away two points. We feel like we should have scored multiple goals. We should have won the game, but that's soccer. We're not complaining. That's the game of soccer and we did reasonably well to create some very good goal scoring opportunities. Some of the ball movement was pretty good and we're going to keep improving.
On FC Dallas playing without Mauro Diaz...
I think it hurt their creativity. They relied on (Michael) Barrios and (Fabian) Castillo to make a lot of the actions. Diaz is a great player, and some of that creativity was missing so our plan was to clog the middle and let them go wide and limit them.
On the set piece that resulted in Justin Meram's goal...
We wanted to take advantage of their man-to-man marking, and we did.

On tonight's game...
Overall, it was a decent performance. We started off well. We had a lot of chances tonight so it was good to see our offense clicking, but we needed to finish and put the game away early. It was unfortunate with the goal, but that's the game of soccer, and we got a road point against a very good team.
On the game plan that created multiple chances behind the FC Dallas backline...
It was just hard movements. Hard movements in behind, or to the ball. The past couple of games, to start the season, we weren't doing that like we did last year. We really had to focus on our movements and be decisive around the penalty box.

On tonight's game...
We'll take the result. It was a good performance. The whole group was fantastic on the evening, and was a little unfortunate. We should have done better in front of goal. We had multiple chances in the first half, early in the second half, to put the game away. It's early in the season still and we'll take a road point against a really good team.
