Opening Ceremony for Crew Soccer Foundation Field March 24

We invite all fans attending the Crew’s March 24 First Kick match to stop by the Crew Soccer Foundation Field Opening Ceremony by the Stadium Club tent. The event will begin at 2:45 p.m.

Crew Soccer Foundation Field will provide a unique recreational outlet for at-risk youth in Columbus. The project, completed in conjunction with the U.S. Soccer Foundation, MLS W.O.R.K.S., adidas, FieldTurf and Korda, has transformed the area north of the Stadium Club into a beautiful synthetic mini-pitch.  

Our goal is to provide quality recreational outlets and soccer programming for at-risk children in underserved Columbus neighborhoods.  As part of this effort, we will kick off the Crew Soccer Foundation Heroes League presented by Lifeline of Ohio this summer at Crew Soccer Foundation Field.  The league will emphasize the importance of teamwork, respect, integrity, diversity, perseverance and living a healthy lifestyle.  For more information about the Heroes League and other field programming, please contact Keiana Mitchell at Kmitchell@thecrew.com or (614) 447-4174.
