A look at the U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 Draw

Following Columbus Crew SC’s 1-0 win over Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on Tuesday, June 11, the Black & Gold are slated to host Atlanta United in the Round of 16 of the 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday, June 18 at 7 p.m. ET at MAPFRE Stadium. All U.S. Open Cup matches are broadcasted exclusively on ESPN+.

Columbus, Atlanta, St. Louis FC, and FC Cincinnati are placed in the Mideast Region of the Open Cup. Per the Open Cup draw, should Crew SC win in the Round of 16, the Club will stay as the host in the Quarterfinals.

Below are the results of the Round of 16 draw:

East Region

• Orlando City SC vs. New England Revolution
• D.C. United vs. New York City FC

Mideast Region

• Columbus Crew SC vs. Atlanta United
• St. Louis FC (USL Championship) vs. FC Cincinnati

Midwest Region

• Houston Dynamo vs. Minnesota United
• FC Dallas vs. New Mexico United (USL Championship)

West Region

• LAFC vs. San Jose Earthquakes
• Portland Timbers vs. LA Galaxy

After the quarterfinal stage, which pits each region's Round-of-16 winners against each other, in the semifinals the winner of the East will meet the winner of the Mideast, and the winner of the Midwest will meet the winner of the West.
