A record-setting performance in the Columbus Crew's 3-1 win over the LA Galaxy helped Federico Higuainseala spot on MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week for Week 11.
With a secondary assist on Gyasi Zardes' opener, Higuain became the Club's all-time regular-season assists leader (62) before taking matters into his own hands 26 minutes later and scoring the game-winner on a low-struck ball just inside the far post from 15 yards out. This week's nod is Higuain's first of the 2019 season.
Additionally, Higuain totaled three key passes and 38 total passes in the opponent's half, the latter of which tied for a match-high, in 74 minutes of play.
