On Wednesday, October 20, the Columbus Crew hosted STEM Day presented by Vertiv at Lower.Com Field.
Over 30 students from the Ohio Hispanic Coalition and the Boys and Girls Club participated in the inaugural event. Throughout the stadium, there were stations focused on learning about the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics within Ticket Operations, the Fan Experience made possible through the Vertiv Data Center, Production Booth and on-field performance testing with Crew Alumni, Frankie Hejduk.
Students had the opportunity to visit the Columbus Crew’s Locker Room and Press Conference Room. Groups were led by Vertiv volunteers and Crew Front Office Staff. At the conclusion of the exciting evening, students and their families were provided dinner in the Huntington Field Club.
