Berea, Ohio, native Thomas Schmitt is a junior forward for the Akron Zips. Schmitt has collected six goals and one assist to date in his college career, as the Zips look to repeat as national champions this year.
"Tommy has a knack for creating goals and is very good around the box,” said Akron head coach Caleb Porter. “He has proven to be more consistent as the years go on, and he fills a major role for us as either a starter or off the bench."
