Kobie Johnson — Crew 2 Assistant Coach

Kobie Johnson was named a Crew 2 Assistant Coach after spending a decade as a head coach for the Red Bulls Academy from 2011-2021 for the Under-12 to the U-23 levels.

Johnson’s previous experience also includes serving as an assistant coach for Seton Hall University, as well as serving as the head coach for the New Jersey Stallions Academy.

A former player, Johnson played for German sides Karlsruhe SC and SV Kuppenheim, as well as for the New York Red Bulls reserve team and the New Jersey Stallions.

At the collegiate level, he represented Seton Hall University from 1995-1999, earning the Freshman Male Athlete of the Year award in 1995 and serving as a captain from 1998-1999.
